Transparent data stewardship for every customer workspace.

Last updated December 31, 2025Applies to the Converux platform

Customer ownership

Organizations control the data they store in Converux. We process it solely to provide and maintain the service.

Security-first posture

Administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards protect your information throughout its lifecycle.

Single point of contact

Use the Converux contact form for privacy questions, deletion requests, or DPA discussions.

Information we collect

We collect the details you provide when creating a workspace, inviting teammates, or contacting support. This includes names, email addresses, roles, billing contacts, and any preferences saved inside workspace settings.

When you use Converux you may store customer records, notes, files, comments, automation settings, and other operational data. You decide what information is entered and you may remove it at any time.

We automatically capture limited technical data such as device/browser metadata, IP addresses, feature usage counts, and diagnostic logs so we can secure the platform, prevent abuse, and improve performance.

How we use information

Your information powers core product functionality, including authentication, role-based access control, notifications, and billing.

We analyze aggregated and de-identified usage trends to prioritize roadmap investments and improve reliability. We never sell your workspace data or use it to train external AI models.

If you opt in to announcements or newsletters, we use the contact details you provide solely for those communications, and you may opt out at any time.

How we share information

We share information with service providers that help us operate Converux, including infrastructure, hosting, billing, communications, analytics, and support partners. Each provider is bound by confidentiality commitments and may only process data to deliver contracted services.

We may disclose information when required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Converux, our customers, or the public. We never sell customer data.

  • Infrastructure, analytics, and support vendors operating under data protection agreements.
  • Professional advisors, including auditors and legal counsel, bound by confidentiality obligations.
  • Regulators or law enforcement agencies, but only when legally compelled.

International transfers & compliance

Converux primarily stores data in the United States. If your organization operates from another region, we implement appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to support lawful transfers.

Upon request we will provide a current list of subprocessors, data center regions, and documentation supporting GDPR, CCPA, and similar regulatory requirements.

Data retention & deletion

We retain customer data for the duration of your subscription. When a workspace is deleted or a written deletion request is approved, related records are removed from active systems within 30 days and from backups within 90 days unless law requires longer retention.

Audit logs that evidence system integrity may be preserved in an anonymized form to meet compliance obligations.

Security practices

Converux follows industry best practices including encryption, access controls, monitoring, and regular dependency patching.

Workspace-level roles, project scoping, and history logs help customers enforce their own internal controls.

Your rights & choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information. We will honor these requests within the timelines defined by applicable law.

Submit requests through the account owner or via the Converux contact form so we can verify identity and respond securely.

  • Request a copy of the personal data we process about you.
  • Ask us to update inaccurate details or delete information when legally permissible.
  • Opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link or contacting support.

Children & sensitive data

Converux is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly process children’s personal information. Customers should avoid uploading protected health information, payment card data, or similarly sensitive records unless our written agreement expressly permits it.

Updates to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect product, regulatory, or operational changes. We will post the revised date at the top of this page and, when changes are material, notify organization owners via email or in-product alerts.
